Description: Our mission is to educate people of all ages about the ecological relationships, and the natural and historical resources, in the Cincinnati Parks and Preserves, and to assist in their protection and management.
Education Centers: Avon Woods Nature Center,
Caldwell Nature Center, California Woods Nature Center; LaBoiteaux Woods

Hours of Operation: Mon - Fri; 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We also schedule public programs and events on weekends.

Offsite Programs Available: Yes - within Cincinnati city limits only. We also offsite programs at Cincinnati parks without Nature centers.

Audiences: Formal PreK-12 and home schoolers, youth organizations, and adults
Program Topics: Ecology (including food webs, tropic levels
and energy transfer, interrelationships, succession, etc.); Habitats; Soils
and Geology; Fossils; Weather; Local Wildlife (general, birds, insects,
mammals, reptiles); Recycling; Native American and Pioneer History;
Cincinnati Historical Overviews; Trees and Classification; Wildflowers;
Pollination; Water Studies; and Water Quality Testing.
Free Teacher Resources: We participate in an equipment lending library through the Nature Connections program. Low-income schools (75% or more students on federal lunch program) located within Cincinnati are eligible for free programs.
