Description: Mill Creek Restoration Project (MCRP) is a private nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization created in January 1994. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for developing sustainability in the Mill Creek watershed through community-based planning and empowerment, environmental education, and economically sound ecological restoration. MCRP has launched a number of major initiatives aimed at revitalizing the Mill Creek environment and economy by engaging people who live and work in the watershed one of which is an interdisciplinary environmental education program for middle and senior high schools in the Mill Creek watershed.
Hours of Operation: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. weekdays with some weekend events
Facilities Open to Public: Most of the Mill Creek Greenway sites are open to the public.

Handicap Accessible: Many of our sites are handicap accessible, but some are not. Please check with staff.
Teacher Training: Yes, water quality monitoring training offered to all participating teachers
Audiences Served: Grades 7 – 12 for water monitoring program and all ages for community service.
Program Topics: Water-quality, nonpoint source pollution prevention, greenways and watersheds.
Free Teacher Resources: No
Community Service Opportunities Available: Volunteer fieldwork available for all ages, families, school groups, scouts and businesses.
